Emergency Ranch and Livestock Evacuation & Preparedness Meetings

The Ventura County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services, Ventura County Animal Services, and the Ventura County Sheriff's Posse are sponsoring several evening meetings to discuss ranch and livestock emergency preparedness and evacuations.

The meetings will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the following locations: August 28, 2013 at Thousand Oaks East Valley Sheriff’s Station; September 12, 2013 at Santa Paula Community Center; September 18, 2013 at Oak View Resource Center; September 25, 2013 at Ventura County Animal Services Building in Camarillo.

These information sessions are designed to provide ranch and horse owners with preparedness information about Ventura County resources available and how citizens can access them.
