Fatal Traffic Collision, Moorpark

 Ventura County Sheriff's Department On 04/15/2012 at about 7:15 am, Moorpark Patrol Deputies received a call of a person hit by a vehicle in the area of North Rand Street and Duke Street. When deputies arrived, they discovered a 90-year-old female who had been walking in the residential neighborhood had sustained injuries upon being struck by a vehicle. The victim was transported to Los Robles Hospital for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead. The collision is still under investigation. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the collision and there have been no arrests made. Nature of Incident: Fatal Traffic Collision |
