A man and his two children were found dead inside their Thousand Oaks apartment Wednesday night.

A woman, who was later identified as the man’s ex-wife, called authorities when she arrived at the apartment and found the three bodies inside.

The father is a 52-year-old, and the two children were a 12-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl.

The scene was quickly contained, and sheriff’s investigators are working to determine what took place inside the apartment.

The names of the victim’s have not yet been released.
