Felon in Possession of Firearms arrest

Jesus Antonio “Tony” Solis As part of an on-going investigation, The Sheriff’s Gang Unit served a search warrant at the home of Jesus “Tony” Solis in the City of Oxnard. During the search warrant, 2 loaded handguns were recovered along with over 100 rounds of ammunition. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad responded to the location when numerous illegal mortar style fireworks were also discovered at the residence. Jesus Solis was arrested in 2008 for a robbery that occurred in the City of Oxnard. As part of his felony conviction in 2010, Jesus was prohibited from owning or possessing firearms. Jesus is also a member of a tagging crew, which is affiliated with a local criminal street gang. Jesus was booked in the Ventura County Jail on 2 counts of a felon in possession of a firearm and a single count of felon in possession of ammunition. Jesus was released on $60,000 bail.
