1117 pm hrs. - Santa Paula
- S101420734 - police Mutual Aid / 999 - Alley behind 932 E. Main Street, Santa Paula - Santa Paula police Units were busy with theft suspects in the alley when two subjects started shooting at officers with handguns. The occupied vehicle that officers were dealing with suffered windows, which were shot out. Initial information was that there was one subject down. Later it was determined that no one had been shot. One subject escaped on foot and another possibly in a vehicle. our Fillmore Police units were all code 3 sent to Santa Paula to assist. CHP and Ventura P.D. also assisted.

At Santa Paula's request, the sheriff copter was dispatched to assist in the search.

Sergeant Schierman, Vaden, and Werre were the on scene supervisors. Initially the Santa Paula W/C requested their SRT Team and our SWAT team for a search for the suspects. Within 45 minutes, Santa Paula canceled their request for our SWAT Team.
