On May 26, 2009, and June 10, 2009, there were two reported incidents where a white male suspect entered the Camarillo Library and exposed himself to female victims. On both occasions, the suspect exposed his penis and masturbated.

During an investigation by Camarillo detectives, which included an analysis of leads from California State Parole Agents, the suspect was identified as Steven Paul Perry. Perry is currently in custody in Los Angeles County for allegedly committing a similar lewd act on the UCLA campus.

The case will be submitted to the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
