On October 25, 2012, at approximately 3:03 PM, the Camarillo Police Department and Ventura County Fire Department responded to the area of Gitana Ave. and Camarillo Springs Rd. to an injury traffic accident. Initial reports were that a vehicle had struck a pedestrian.

Upon investigation, it was determined by deputies that Frank Gallodoro was backing his 2003 Honda Accord out of the driveway of a private residence. The pedestrian, Susan Norman was behind the vehicle and was accidently hit. After striking Norman, the vehicle continued to travel, in reverse, and struck the carport area of a residence across the street. As the vehicle continued to reverse, it struck and severed the gas line of the other residence. Ventura County Fire Department personnel were able to turn off the gas upon their arrival and no evacuations were needed.

Norman was transported to Los Robles Regional Medical Center for injuries suffered to her legs. Gallodoro was not injured in the accident.
