Marijuana Sales Arrest

Ventura County Sheriff's Department During a narcotics investigation, Morris was found to be in possession of marijuana packaged for sale. Sheriff’s narcotics investigators received information of a subject bringing high-grade marijuana to Ventura County from Humboldt County in Northern California. The subject was identified as Steven Morris, a resident of Fortuna, Ca. On 12-5-2013, detectives observed Morris in the City of Oxnard and contacted him. During the search of Morris’ vehicle, high-grade marijuana, packaged for sale, was found. A follow-up search of Morris’ motel room revealed additional marijuana. Total seized marijuana was approximately 3.5 pounds, with an estimated street value in excess of $14,000.00. Morris was booked into the Sheriff’s Main Jail with a bail set at $20,000.00 Nature of Incident: Marijuana Sales Arrest Ventura County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information, which leads to the arrest and criminal complaint against the person(s) responsible for this crime.
