Narcotics Arrest

Ventura County Sheriff's Department On 11-22-08, Sheriff’s narcotics investigators completed a six-month investigation into narcotics sales occurring from a residence in the 4600 block of South A Street, Oxnard. When detectives served the Search Warrant at the home, Daniel Wallace, the target of the investigation, threw a handgun and two bags containing narcotics over a wall to a neighbor’s residence. The subsequent search revealed over one pound of cocaine, three ounces of rock cocaine, two ounces of methamphetamine, and six pounds of marijuana. Additionally, paraphernalia was located indicating Wallace was converting cocaine powder into rock cocaine. Wallace was arrested and booked for possession of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana for sale, and manufacturing rock cocaine. |
