Narcotics Arrest

Ventura County Sheriff's Department On November 8, 2010, Sheriff’s Narcotics Detectives concluded a 3-week investigation into methamphetamine sales in the city of Oxnard. Detectives observed Padilla meet with another subject in a parking lot near the intersection of Rose Ave. and Lockwood St. in Oxnard. Investigators contacted the subjects and found Padilla to be in possession of approximately 3 ounces of methamphetamine. The estimated street value of the narcotics is approximately $8,600.00. Padilla was subsequently arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale and sales of methamphetamine and booked at the Sheriff’s Pre-Trial Detention Facility. Initially, Padilla provided a false name to investigators, but through fingerprint examination, he was positively identified as Martin Padilla. Location: Rose Ave. at Lockwood St., Oxnard |
