On April 7, 2009, members of the Sheriff’s Department’s Narcotics Unit were conducting surveillance in the area of Ventura Blvd. and Los Posas Rd., Camarillo, when they observed possible narcotic activity occurring. Through their investigation, detectives determined Jesus Melchor and Katarina Diaz were involved in sales of methamphetamine. Both subjects were arrested for conspiracy to sell methamphetamine and booked into the Sheriff’s Main Jail. A small amount of methamphetamine was seized at the scene.
