Residential Burglar Arrested

On September 14, 2008, a Camarillo resident (2500 block of Pepperwood Dr.) reported someone entered their home while they were asleep during the night and stole several items. The resident explained they left their rear sliding glass door unlocked and when they woke up a laptop computer was missing. Further investigation revealed several other items were also missing.

After a lengthy investigation, Camarillo Detectives were able to gather enough evidence to arrest the suspect on April 1, 2009. The suspect is a 17-year-old juvenile who was taken into custody in the area of Benito Drive and Vincente Ave. in the City of Camarillo.

The suspect was later booked at Juvenile Hall for residential burglary.
