Ventura County Sheriff's Department

At approximately 11:30 A.M., a male subject knocked on the door of a Mooorpark residence. When the resident did not answer the door, the subject tried to enter the home through a window. When Moorpark Police arrived in the area, the victim and a neighbor described three suspects, two of whom were seen running from the residence. While responding to the call, a Moorpark detective observed one of the suspects run across Tierra Rejada Road and climb a block wall into the Christian Barrett residential area.

Deputies from the Moorpark Police Department conducted a door to door search of the residential area with the assistance of three K-9’s and an air unit.

Through the use of Reverse 911 and the cooperation of neighbors and law enforcement personnel, all suspects were taken into custody.
