The Thousand Oaks Police Department would like to remind citizens to secure their residences prior to leaving home, even if only leaving for a short period of time. We would also like to remind residents to report all suspicious activity or persons in residential neighborhoods. Thieves will often loiter in residential areas, looking for homes and cars to burglarize.
