Residential Burglary, Sex with a Minor

On 6-13-12, a residence in the 6600 block of Clear Springs Road, in the unincorporated area of eastern Simi Valley, was burglarized. Specific items were stolen, including two high-end bicycles. On 6-14-12, the victim saw a male suspect riding his stolen bicycle on the street near his residence. The victim confronted the suspect who dropped the bicycle and ran. An investigation ensued which led to a probable suspect who lived in close proximity to the victim. On 6-15-12, Detectives from the Moorpark Police Department and Thousand Oaks Police Department conducted a probation search at the residence of the suspect, Louis Nunez. Nunez was found to be in possession of additional stolen property belonging to the victim.

Nunez was arrested for residential burglary, possession of stolen property, felon in possession of ammunition, felon in possession of tear gas, child endangerment and being under the influence of methamphetamine. He is currently in custody with a bail of $200,000.

Jonathan Hill-Kennedy was also present at the location of the search. An unrelated investigation led to his arrest for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and possession of graffiti tools. He is currently in custody with a bail of $10,000.
