Ventura County Sheriff's Department

During the early morning hours, investigators from the Sheriff’s Gang Unit, Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau, Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit, Sheriff’s Intelligence Unit, Thousand Oaks Police Department, Moorpark Police Department, and Fillmore Police Department served simultaneous search warrants at various locations in Oxnard regarding on open gang investigation. Evidence and information gathered from these search warrants will be used to further this investigation.

As a result of these warrants, investigators made several arrests for unrelated crimes. Investigators arrested Rudy Garcia for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Investigators arrested Oscar Puga for possession for sales of marijuana. Investigators arrested Albanely Garcia for possession of over 1 ounce of marijuana and arrested Henry Najera for illegal gun transfer/possession and child endangerment.
