Luis Carrillo Rodriguez, Santa Paula, 66

On May 5th, 2015 the Santa Paula Police Department posted a video of an unknown male subject stealing a $100 bill from a 4 year old child who was holding her mother's wallet while at a grocery store. The Santa Paula Police Department asked for the publics help in identifying the suspect and through multiple phone calls and messages we were able to identify the suspect as Luis Carrillo Rodriguez, age 66 of Santa Paula. Today Rodriguez was interviewed and arrested for the crime of petty theft. Rodriguez has a criminal history of theft and drug related charges. The Santa Paula Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying Rodriguez in this case.
