On 4-20-09, at about 3:40 a.m., Thousand Oaks patrol deputies responded to the 1300 block of Newbury Road in the City of Thousand Oaks to a call of a stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies learned that Tomas Araiza-Guzman had a stab wound to his left side abdomen area. During the initial investigation, deputies learned that Araiza-Guzman got into an argument with an unidentified male subject in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue in the City of Thousand Oaks, where the stabbing occurred. After being stabbed, Araiza-Guzman drove himself to the 1300 block of Newbury Road, seeking medical attention.

Araiza-Guzman was subsequently transported to Los Robles Hospital for treatment. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
