Stabbing in Santa Paula

Santa Paula Police Department On Sunday, July 1st, 2012, at approximately 9:02 p.m. Santa Paula Police Officers responded to a call of a fight in progress in the area of the 700 blk. of W. Harvard Blvd. Upon arrival at the location, officers located a victim who had been physically assaulted and stabbed multiple times. The victim was transported by ambulance to the Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of injuries, and is expected to survive. The identity of the victim will not be released at this time due to an active and ongoing investigation. Santa Paula Police Detectives were called to the scene to further investigate the incident. Patrol officers arrested one suspect involved in the incident however, the suspect is a juvenile, therefore the identity of the suspect will not be released. The juvenile was lodged at the Ventura County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of attempted murder and numerous other charges.
