Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Ojai Substation responded to a call of a female stabbing victim. Upon arrival, deputies located a female in her mid-twenties on the side of the roadway. The female victim appeared to have been stabbed multiple times. The victim was airlifted by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Air Unit to the Ventura County Medical Center. At this time, the extent of the victim’s injuries are unknown.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Crime Scene Investigation Unit and Major Crimes Unit are on-scene looking for evidence and possible witnesses to the crime.
