On 10/25/09, at approximately 0200 hours, Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Camarillo Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of the City of Oxnard. The vehicle fled and led deputies on a pursuit, which reached speeds of 100 MPH. The pursuit ended in Oxnard, where the occupants of the vehicle fled on foot. Sheriff’s Deputies and Oxnard Police officers conducted a coordinated search with the assistance of K-9 officers from both agencies. The search resulted in the apprehension of four juveniles for a variety of charges included felony evading and theft of a vehicle.
