On Tuesday morning (5-28-13), sometime between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m., an unknown person set fire to the residence at 69 Wales Street in the city of Thousand Oaks. No one was injured as a result of the fire and the circumstances surrounding the fire are being investigated by Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Bureau and Sheriff’s Arson Unit. Detectives are seeking the public’s help with any information about any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles seen in or around the area before the fire. Anyone with information is encouraged to phone the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau at 805-379-8790 or provide the information through Crime Stoppers.
