Three Hell’s Angels arrested for drug charges

Ventura County Sheriff's Department Location: Date & Time:1-22-2010 through 1-29-2010 Unit Responsible: Gang Unit (S)uspects Charge City of residence Age The Sheriff’s Gang Unit arrested three members of the Hell’s Angels criminal street gang this past week for a variety of drug charges. On 1-22-2010, gang investigators were in the 10200 block of Darling Road on an unrelated investigation. Investigators saw a subject sitting in a car and recognized him as a Hell’s Angels member named Martin Kada. Kada had probation terms that included submitting to a search by any law enforcement officer. During the contact, Kada was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Jail. He was later released on $20,000 bail. On 1-29-2010, Sheriff’s gang investigators saw a group of six Hell’s Angels riding motorcycles on the southbound 101 Freeway. The group was traveling in excess of 85 mph while weaving in and out of traffic. Investigators stopped all six motorcyclists in the area of Del Norte Blvd. During the investigation, David Olivares and James Ivans were found to be under the influence of methamphetamine and arrested. Olivares was also found in possession of methamphetamine and arrested on the additional charge of transportation of methamphetamine. The other 4 members were cited for different traffic violations including speeding and driving on a suspended license. Olivares was booked into the Ventura County Jail and remains in custody on $55,000 dollars bail. Ivans was given a citation and released. |
