Assemblyman Jeff Gorell (R-Camarillo) will be hosting a resources fair for seniors in Ventura County. The event will bring community groups together at the Padre Serra Parish on Upland Road in Camarillo to offer information about their services to senior citizens, family members, and caregivers. State constituent affairs representatives will also be on hand to help seniors with government programs and support.

Assemblyman Gorell will start the event by providing a legislative update on senior issues. The remainder of the event will be open for attendees to explore the resource fair. More than 40 senior-serving organizations throughout the county will be hosting tables and making presentations at the resource fair, providing awareness about resources available to local seniors.

Among the organizations participating include: Ventura County Area Agency on Aging; Camarillo Health Care District; El Concilio Family Services; and Senior Concerns.
