Ventura County, CA - Congressman Elton Gallegly and friends will present about 500 bicycles, tricycles, battery-operated quads and other gifts to children of the military as a thank you for the families’ sacrifice. The event will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Naval Base Ventura County Point Mugu, Hangar 324.

The children will each have a ticket to enter into the drawing for the bike of their choice.

This event is open to children of active duty service members and mobilized reservists at Naval Base Ventura County.

Santa Claus will make a special appearance and arrive in a Channel Islands Air National Guard C-130J Hercules.

Media will meet in the parking lot by Bldg-116 next to the main gate at NBVC Point Mugu at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 4 to be escorted to Hangar-324.
