B. Consideration of 2011-12 Year End Budget Adjustments and Adopt Resolution 12-3362 Amending the Fiscal Year 2011-12 Budget.
Recommendation: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 12-3362 Amending the Fiscal Year 2011-12 Budget; and
2) Authorize the City Manager or Designee to Make the Recommended Budget Adjustments.
C. Consideration to Authorize the Write Off of Uncollectible Inactive (Closed) Utility Accounts and Direct the Acting City Manager or Designee to Prepare Ordinance Amendments or Another Mechanism Regarding Programs Relating to Penalty and Interest Charges on Late Utility Accounts, and to Update the Delinquent Process and Billing Cycles With Respect to All Utility Accounts.
Recommendation: 1) Authorize the Write Off of Uncollectible Inactive (Closed) Utility Accounts from 2002-2011 as shown on Attachment1; and
2) Direct the Acting City Manager or his Designee to Prepare Ordinance Amendments or Another Mechanism Regarding Programs Relating to Penalty and Interest Charges on Late Utility Accounts and to Update the Delinquent process and Billing Cycles with Respect to All Utility Accounts..
D. Appointment of a Two Member Ad Hoc Committee of the City Council for American Water Negotiations.
Recommendation: 1) That the Mayor Appoints Two Members of the City Council to an Ad Hoc Committee to Work With Staff During the Initial Stages of Discussions with American Water.
E. Consideration of Sample Codes of Conduct and Ethics and Provide Direction to Staff.
Recommendation: 1) Consider Information and Provide Direction to Staff to Prepare a Code of Conduct and/or Ethics to be Brought Back for Consideration at a Later Date; or
2) Determine that a Code of Conduct and/or Ethics is Not Necessary at This Time.
