In Loving Memory of Raymond Dale Pennington
Raymond Dale Pennington passed away peacefully on January 14, 2013 in his home in San Diego CA, at the age of 70. Raymond Dale was born March 17, 1942, in Charleston, AR to Elmo and Violet (Henderson) Pennington. The family moved to Piru, CA in 1951, where he attended grade school and Fillmore High School. He resided in Ventura County for most of his years then moved to San Diego, CA in 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmo and Violet (Henderson) Pennington; brother Dwain Pennington, and sisters Alberta (Robin) Marks and Linda Roberts. He is survived by his brother Norris Pennington of Fillmore, CA; daughters Rebecca Ann deSilva (husband Bryan) of Cave Creek, AZ; Judi Lyn Kemery (husband William) of San Diego, CA and son Brian Dale Pennington (wife Bernadette) of Bakersfield, CA. He was also “Papa” to his 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was a son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend with a big heart who lived life large and loved his family very much. His life has brought many cherished memories to us all and he will be forever in our hearts. The memorial service will be held Saturday, March 23 at 11:00.
