CI Announces “Frontiers in Neuroscience,” the 10th Annual Poe Symposium

Camarillo, CA - CSU Channel Islands will hold “Frontiers in Neuroscience,” the 10th Annual Poe Symposium, on Friday, April 11, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Del Norte Hall 1500 on the CI campus. The event is free and open to the public. Prior registration is required at http://biology.csuci.edu/poe/poe10neuroscience/index.htm. The Poe Symposium features current topics in science and brings together professionals from multiple disciplines. This year the symposium will look at new developments and cutting-edge technologies in the field of neuroscience. Speaker topics include: Check-in begins at 12:15 p.m. Limited parking is available on campus with the purchase of a $6 daily permit; follow signs to the parking permit dispensers. Once on campus, follow signs to the event. Free parking is also available at the Camarillo Metrolink Station/Lewis Road parking lot in Camarillo with bus service to and from the campus. Riders should board the CI Vista Bus to the campus; the cash-only fare is $1.25 each way. Buses arrive and depart from the Camarillo Metrolink Station every 30 minutes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday. For exact times, check the schedule at www.goventura.org.
