Sespe School celebrated it's 3rd annual Cinco de Mayo celebration on Friday, May 4th. The Sespe ELAC committee organized the event which drew approximately 250 students, families, and community members. Entertainment was provided by preschool and kindergarten students from Sespe. Ballet Folklorico dancers from St. Francis de Assisi and La Banda Chili Verdes also provided entertainment. Thank you to the following organizations for their support and donations to this wonderful event: La Plaza Market, La Fondita Restaurant, El Pescador Restaurant, Super A Market, Time Warner Cable, Fillmore City Hall, parent volunteers, and the Sespe ELAC committee. We look forward to continuing this celebration next year. Some happy caballeros enjoyed Cinco de Mayo. The Saint Francis of Assisi Church Ballet Folklorico entertained the crowd at the Cinco de Mayo celebration. Several very pretty senoritas brightened the Sespe Cinco de Mayo day’s celebration The Cinco de Mayo court from Fillmore High added a touch of glamour to the celebration. |
