Celebrated throughout Fillmore Unified School District, Unity Day is an annual event recognizing National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month. With one in five school-aged children report being bullied at school, Unity Day is an opportunity for individuals, schools, businesses, and communities to wear or share orange to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion in order to prevent students from being bullied.
