Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice is holding an 8 week Hospice Volunteer Training Class, starting January 25th. The focus will be on end of life care issues, communication skills, dealing with grief and loss, spirituality, symptom management and the hospice team. Make a difference and become a Hospice Volunteer; it takes just a few hours a week and makes an immeasurable difference to patients and families. The class will be held every Wednesday from 9:30 AM -1:30 PM, at the Foster Library’s Elizabeth R. Topping Room, 651 E. Main Street, Ventura.
