The New Sketching Class is taught by Virginia Neuman. Virginia was born in London, England and was educated at Chelsea School of Art. A professional artist, Virginia’s works have garnered sales in England, France and the United States. She has worked as a portraitist in all three countries and has had commissions for landscapes and other works. Virginia has taught Art in the Fillmore Unified School District where she established the independent Art program at Piru School. This will be another Great class! and an opportunity to learn to sketch from a professional. If you would be interested please call and let us know. 524-4533. The Class fee is only a $2.00 Donation per class….and you can’t beat that. Low Vision Support Group will be starting up again January 25th and the Braille Wagon will be here February 29. AARP will be doing Federal and State Income Taxes on Tuesdays at the Fillmore Senior Center for Seniors 60 plus, from February 7th. through April 10th. Starting at 9AM the last client will be at 12:00. This is first come first served. (No Appointments) Please remember to bring your copy of the 2010 tax return and your Social Security card. Other items to bring are: Your W-2 Form, if you were employed; also any Federal and State Tax forms you may receive In the mail, such as: Forms 1099-R, SSA-1099, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B. if you forget your paper work you will have to come back and get in line again. (Some returns are complicated and AARP is not permitted to do them, such as business returns, rentals, corporate returns, K-1’s, etc. A Paid professional tax preparer must do these.)
