AARP Driver Safety Class April 16 & April 19. from 9-1pm The two, 4-hour classes are sponsored by AARP. The class is designed to help individuals tune up their driving skills and refresh all the rules of the road. This is especially handy if your drivers license is about to expire and you might have to take the written test again. It’s surprising how many rules we have actually forgotten and just gotten away with. The class fee is $12 for AARP member and $14 for non-members. Only “TWO” Weeks left to get your Taxes done here at the Senior Center. Federal and State Income Taxes, For Seniors & Low income. Every Tuesdays at the Fillmore Senior Center, through April 10th. Starting at 9AM the last client will be at 12:00. This is first come first served. (No Appointments) Please remember to bring your copy of the 2010 tax return and your Social Security card. You might want to bring a book or you can watch TV while waiting for your turn. Call the center if this day is inconvenient, we have a list of alternative locations & times available 524-4533
WII Bowling, Where are the Men and Women who love to bowl, We have two Wii Bowling games, just waiting for more bowlers. Thursday’s at 10:30 are for Women, and Friday’s at 10:30 for Men or Co-Ed. There’s no fee, just come and get some fun exercise and make some new friends.
Alzheimer’s Savvy Care Giver Class (Part 3) will be March 29th, If you missed out on this three part class, you really missed out on a great class. Everyone enjoyed the class and thought it was very helpful. Call us and let us know if you would like us to repeat the class. If there is enough interest, we will schedule another session. 524-4533
