Fireworks are our “Biggest and Only Fundraiser” to support the Fillmore Senior Center. You can help Support the Senior Center by purchasing your fireworks from us. We are located on the 126 Hwy, across from El Dorado Mobile Home Park ( 250 E. Telegraph Rd.)
Due to Cutbacks our Salad Bar will only be every other Tuesday. If you need to mark your calendars start with Tuesday, July 3 then July 17th and so on. We will be serving regular hot lunches Mondays, Tuesday (on the in-between weeks), Wednesdays & Thursdays. No lunch is served on Fridays.
Please, remember to call by 11:00 AM if you plan on having lunch that day.
Low Vision Support group will not meet July or August, we will meet again on September 26th, from 10 to 11:30 AM. Then October 24th. & December 19th. Living with limited vision can be a challenge, but it need not be a barrier to living a fulfilling life. Low Vision Rehabilitation specialist can show you other services that may help you perform tasks more easily such as Kitchen confidence, grocery shopping, organizing your household. Tools to manage finances, Tips and resources for traveling, Tapping into your creative side, Personal care and grooming, How to get from here to there and back, staying connected to friends & family through computers and using special reading machines available thru the Braille Institute.
