Our Next Alzheimer’s & Dementia Caregiver Support Group will meet on September 17th. in the Senior Center Library from 9:00 – 10:30 A.M. We only had one person on September 10th. We will meet again on the 17th. Hopefully all of you that said “it was really important to have this support group” will come back. Besides having an overseer it helps to have other people with the same problems to share with, this is what makes a good support group work!
Seniors & Adults only, Sorry no children, Ventura County Public Health will be here giving “FREE FLU SHOTS” on Thursday, October 11th. 9-11:00 am. We will have sign-up sheets here at the Fillmore Sr. Center, so please call 524-4533 or come in and sign up if you plan on taking advantage of this opportunity to get a free flu shot. Bring Medicare/Medical card if you have one. Space is limited to the first 50 residents.
The Fillmore Senior Center takes pleasure in offering a Salad Bar to the seniors of Fillmore. It gives them a change from the regular Hot Meals served Monday thru Thursday. Our next Salad Bar will be on Sept 25th. The Kitchen will start serving Lunch promptly at 11:00. If your plan on coming please call by 10:00 AM and let us know your coming. Pat Rees always prepares a variety of colorful & tantalizing items to tempt your taste buds. If your late you might miss out, so get here early.
