Wana Klasen

A very basic introduction to the joy of watercolor painting is being offered at the Fillmore Senior Center by local artist, Wana Klasen. The classes will begin on October 10, 2008 and will be offered each Friday morning from 9:00AM -11:30AM for eight consecutive Fridays for the nominal fee of $10.00 per student for the entire 8 sessions. Beginning supplies will be provided. After the Holiday break, eight more classes will be offered beginning in January. The classes will be limited to the first TEN interested participants who sign up by contacting Lori Nunez at the Fillmore Senior Center at 524-4533, or Wana Klasen at 524-0130. Since lunch hour at the Center begins at 11:30, participants are invited to remain after the art session and enjoy lunch.
Now is the perfect time to let your inner artist sing and take advantage of the healing properties of the arts. As a retired Registered Nurse, Wana is convinced that the arts play a huge role in wellness of mind, body, and spirit, and has experienced this fact personally!! In these classes, participants will learn very basic techniques in creating your own finished work of art. Be among the first TEN people to sign up.!!
