The Fillmore Boxing Club's Demily Amezcua recently competed in San Fernando, CA in the 100 lb. weight class. She was victorious in her debut match winning via decision vs. Kayline Marez of the Young Champions Boxing Club. The bout was three rounds of one and a half minute duration. Amezcua was able to establish a jab that was the difference maker in the first two rounds of the bout and was able to fight off her persistent opponent's attacks in the final round.
