By Anonymous — Wednesday, March 18th, 2009
Fillmore High School Pep Squad competed this past weekend at the California State Championships and took home first place for the second year in a row. The girls dedicated this performance to Mason Dollar the brother of Hayley Dollar a member of the Pep Squad. The girls took home a trophy, banner, and each participates won a state championship sweater. These girls worked hard to compete this weekend and did a great job. All of their stunts hit and everything turned out great. The Pep Squad practices each day for 2 hours to make their squads the best it can be. The FHS Pep Squad has been coached by Trina Tafoya for the past 8 years, Katie Cook for the past 3 years, and Eddie Rios for the past 2 years. The girls’ next competition is in Anaheim March 20th-23rd.
