After a year off, the Fillmore High School Cross Country team resumed their annual Mammoth Training Camp. This summer marked the 13th year for the Flashes summer camp. We were proud to be able to support twelve athletes in Mammoth this year. The athletes participating in the summer camp included seniors Michael Camilo Torres, Alianna Tapia, and Angelica Herrera. The juniors included Monique Hurtado, Liliana Montejano, Nick Hurtado, and Andrea Laureano. The sophomores included Alexandra Martinez, Angel Laureano, Angel Garcia, and Kobe Lizarraga. Our solo freshman included Niza Laureano. We would like to thank all involved with helping to procure this trip. We would like to thank Coach Epi Torres for his time and volunteering. We would also like to thank Nova Sports and Fillmore Rotary for their support, and the donations they have made to help in supporting our student athletes. Finally, thank you to the parents for supporting the athletes as they train and prepare for the upcoming season. Go Flashes!
