[Submitted by Head Coach Sean Miller.] The Fillmore Flashes football team improved their record to 2-1 last Friday night with a win over Trinity Classical Academy 29-20. The Flashes' defense played well and had 6 total sacks, including 3 from senior defensive linemen Marshall Martinez. Sophomore defensive back, Andy Becerra, also played well and had his first varsity interception. On offense, Bryce Nunez and the offensive line lead the way as Nunez ran for 206 yards and 2 touchdowns. Next week the Flashes travel to play La Canada at 7pm on Friday, September 7th.
