Courtesy Coach Sean Miller. Last Friday, August 30th the Fillmore Flashes improved their record to 2-0 with a 39-14 win against Brentwood high school. Senior Quarterback Jared Schieferle threw for 176 yards and 2 touchdowns while also adding 58 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Junior wide receiver Dylan Sierra caught 7 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. On defense, senior linebacker Dylan Crawford had a team-high 6 tackles included 3 for a loss and 1 sack. Junior Defensive tackle Nick Jimenez, Defensive End Justice Rodriguez, and senior Tyler Coert each added a sack to the winning effort as well. Next week the Flashes are at away at 7pm vs. Desert High School.
