Last Friday, the Fillmore Flashes suffered their first loss with a 35-6 loss against Nordhoff high school, taking their overall record to 6-1 and their league record to 1-1. On defense, senior linebacker David Tovar and junior defensive back Ty Wyand both had interceptions while sophomore safety Phillip Cervantez led the team with 6 tackles. On offense, senior receiver Ryan Gonzalez had 7 receptions for 81 yards. Freshman receiver Ray Alcantar had the only touchdown of the game, a 5 yard reception from senior Quarterback Jared Schieferle who finished with 113 yards passing.
