Local teens compete in Maryhill Festival of Speed/IGSA World Cup

Pictured above (l-r) Kyle Castaneda and Andy Lally. Castaneda placed second in Classic Luge. Fillmore High School Seniors, Kyle Castaneda and Christian Conaway participated in the Maryhill Festival of Speed/IGSA World Cup held June 30th - July 4th in Goldendale, Washington. Kyle Castaneda won 2nd place in Classic Luge and also took 5th place in Street Luge. Castaneda gave Nascar driver Andy Lally who took 1st place a very exciting and competitive race. To close out the day on Saturday, the Maryhill Festival of Speed organizers staged “King of the Hill” races for the top six qualifiers in both Downhill Skateboarding and Street Luge.
