Fillmore High School student Anthony Edwards participates in the “springtooth” cultivating competition during Saturday’s Tractor Pull competition at the School Farm. Edwards placed Third in this competition. Future Farmers of America (FFA) competitors came from Morro Bay, Carpinteria, Santa Maria, and Camarillo to demonstrate their mechanical skills.

Among the various events at Saturday’s School Farm was a demonstration of skill with a front loader. Here Travis Doop from Carpinteria must pick up a basketball from a pit and re-place it without dropping or damaging it. Doop placed first in this competition. Fillmore Ag Boosters provided all the trophies, ribbons and food.
