4. This years’ Ventura County Fair Poster contest theme is “The Bounty of the County”. Entries must be original 2-D works of art on 14” x
17” paper. There is a $10 entry fee. All valid entries will receive a Ventura County Fair participation ribbon and 2 admission tickets to the
2011 VC fair. Awards- 1st place $500, 2nd place $250 3rd place $100. The deadline is Thursday March 31st. For an entry form or more
information come by room 34 (Art room)
5. Higher Ed Week II is coming to Fillmore High School on the evening of Tuesday, March 1st, in the high school gym. Speak with college
representatives from UC’s, CSU’s, Private Universities, Community Colleges, and trade schools. Bring the family! Win an IPOD!
6. Yearbook info - You may order personalization for your yearbook for only $5. Have your name and/or icons on the cover of your yearbook
and help prevent loss/theft. Order forms are available in the Student Store. Deadline: February 28th at 3:15.

Soccer team at 11:20AM. Bus will depart FHS at 11:45AM.
3. WRESTLING - They following Wrestlers are competing in the CIF Finals. Robert Bonilla, Kyle
Castaneda, Christian Conaway, Johnathon Minero, Sammy Orozco, Marco Vega & Marc Zavala.
4. Swim team – TODAY is the last chance to participate on the swim team. Even if you have not
cleared yet, you need to see the coach TODAY after school at the pool if you want to be on the
swim team.
